Overview of Classic Minesweeper

• Reveal all the cells avoiding the mines, as you do in the Microsoft Minesweeper.
• Some cells have hidden mines under them. If you touch any of them, there will be a huge explosion on the board!
• Start with deciding on the difficulty level of this arcade game. There are three modes: Easy, Medium and Hard.
• The Easy mode has 20 mines in total on a 9x9 board. On the other hand, there is a 10x12 board in the Medium mode with 40 mines.
• Finally, the Hard mode has a 12x14 board, including 80 mines. We recommend you start with the easy one if you are a newbie!

Guesswork to Avoid Mines

When you uncover the tiles, you will see numbers in each one. These numbers show that there are many mines near that specific tile. Use the revealed numbers to your advantage to avoid exploding the mines.

They will greatly assist you in uncovering the empty cells without touching any mines. You will win the game if you uncover all the squares that do not contain mines. Additionally, keep in mind that when you start uncovering the cells, the timer will start to count.

Dealing with the 80 Mines

In the Hard mode, you will see a 12x14 board. There are 168 cells, and this board has 80 mines. It means there's a risk of triggering a mine with any click. You have almost a 50 to 50 chance.

Before challenging yourself in this mode, we recommend you practice in the Easy and Medium modes. These easier modes will enable you to get used to the gameplay without pushing you too much.
